The coast from Exmouth to Studland represents 185 million years of the Earth's history in just 95 miles of coastline. Along this coast you can see the remains of ancient deserts, tropical seas and dinosaur infested swamps.
Durlston Castle is the location of the Jurassic Coast Visitor Centre, currently being remodeled but soon to be a place where visitors can learn about the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods of geological time.
